Any full-time, 'first time' student is not charged for their initial card. However, some card privileges may have additional cost

First time students will receive their MAVcard during their orientation at CMU. Online exclusive students will receive their MAVcard by mail. We will use their mailing address that CMU has on file.

New Orientation students will receive cards at Orientation Checkout.

The production of your MAVcard will be delayed. You will receive an email indicating the reason why the photo is not acceptable and will have to either reā€upload another picture that meets the requirements or visit the MAVcard office to have your MAVcard manually produced.

If you lose your card, immediately call or stop by the MAVcard office to put a hold on your account so nobody can use your meal plan, MAVmoney, or Flex account. Go to http://www.coloradomesa.edu/mavcard/lost-card.html for more information about lost or stolen MAVcard. Then visit the MAVcard office to get a new card. The charge to get a new card is $15.00. We accept cash, check or credit cards. You may also choose to bill your CMU student account.

Bring your worn card in to the MAVcard Office and fill out a MAVcard form. If your card is broken, you must turn in all pieces to the card in order to be eligible for a replacement card. The cost for a replacement card is $5.00. We accept cash, check, or credit card. You may also choose to bill your CMU student account.
